Google Scholar Offers Free Case Law Searches

Google Scholar now offers access to federal and state case law, searchable by topic or party, including the ability to view how other cases and commentators have cited the case retrieved.

Full details are available at the Google Scholar Blog. Legal scholars now have another alternative to Westlaw or Lexis services.

Wayne County Law Library in the News

In July the Daily-Record reported on the reorganization of the Wayne County Law Library. Since then Bill Weiss was hired as the Law Librarian and Corey Spitler was named as the representative from the Court of Common Pleas Court to the new library board.
